IC CONTACT - @tastesofdespair

You reached Tallis. I'm either away being awesome, or I'm lying face down in a ditch somewhere. If I don't get back to you in twenty four hours, assume it's the second and send a rescue party.
Seriously.

I've never seen a Great Dane before, but I sure do love puppies. Sure, why not? It'll be fun.
[It'll be more than fun, it'll mean a lot. Tallis won't admit to that, though. Nope. ]

Great Dane is a breed of dog, and these are the two of them. They’ll get pretty big.
Great! Though there’s one more thing I should mention. My friend Cian will be living in the house too. He’s painfully shy and would benefit from living in a bigger place with nature nearby. Is that okay?
text;
Cian, huh? Not met him, I'll make sure to send him a message. And that's fine by me, maybe living with people might get him out of his shell a little.
text;
You should message him. He reminds me of a friend of mine back home. It's amusing that they're both tall too. Just don't scare him too much.
text;
I promise I will be my least terrifying.

Sure! I can absolutely do that.

Um, do you prefer money or bartering? I can do either. I run the Apothecary and Witchcraft shop by the botanical gardens.

hello hi, this dude is a hella locksmith and also i'm so gross in love with DA, i couldnt resist 8T
Are you hiring?
omg excellent excellent
You an ace of the locksmithing world, or are you a newbie looking to learn?
:3 i maybe squealed a bit when i saw the community board sticky note thing for this
[ moreso, thief. he's a jewel thief, and a box man. but a good one, and did work in an actual, respectable establishment back home. that'll be the part that actually ends up on the resume. if he ever... writes a resume. ]
Haven't been a newbie for a long time. I ran a shop with my friend back home, in Berlin.
awww, I'm glad!
And great! Welcome aboard... insert name here?
8D
Wolfgang. Thanks. Have you been in business long?

My world doesn't really have a name, but the continent is called Thedas. I was born in a place called Tevinter, but my home's wherever I get sent.
Only a month! You're just in time for the fresh new-ness feel.

You travel for work? For locksmithing? [ which you wouldn't need to travel for, he doesn't think, so the question is more 'what did you do at home instead?' ]
And the scrambling for customers. It'll be fine. Everyone has lock problems.
no subject
Oh no, I'm not a locksmith back home. It just happened to be the closest job I could find to what I do back home that was still technically legal.
That IS true.

[ "technically legal"... ] 'Skeletons in the Closet' more literal than figuirative? Either way, I know some in the same position. Utopia puts a lot of people out of a job.
We could always go around busting locks and wait for people to come looking for fixes. But that would be unethical.
[ h...a..... ]

I thought was was being very clever and punny at the time.
That would be unethical and we should totally not plan a day to do that at all.
[Please she misses messing people's stuff up for shits and giggles, it's been FOREVER. ]
